Gaddafi end nine match winless run with comprehensive victory over Tooro United

Jinja based side Gaddafi FC put an end to their nine match winless streak after condemning already relegated Tooro United FC to a 7-0 humiliating defeat.

Ronald Basangwa bagged a second half hattrick which came in the 30th, 78th and 83rd minutes respectively.

Ronald Bithum was also on the score sheet twice in the 74th and 85th minutes.

The other two goals for Abu Mubarak Wamboya’s coached side were scored by Alex Kitata who put the hosts in the lead in the 3rd minute before Steven Munguchi extend6 the lead in the 22nd minute.

Victory helps the hosts temporarily move to the tenth position with 31 points and consequently securing their safety.

The visitors who are playing for academic reasons remain on the bottom of the table with only ten points, they have conceded the highest number of goals ( 66).

Gaddafi FC now focuses on the next game against KCCA on 14th-May at the Gaddafi Arena..

Tooro United’s next game will be against strugglers Mbarara City FC.
