Sseruyidde confirms leaving URA FC

URA FC winger Moses Sseruyidde aka Kinye has announced his departure from the club.

“It has been four years since I joined URA FC but today I decided to leave the club because of some issues but I want to thank URA and the entire management for the opportunity.”

The left-footed midfielder confirmed his departure via his facebook account

He also thanked coaches Sam Ssimbwa, Stephen Billy Kiggundu, Hamzah Kalanzi, George Lutalo, Sam Timbe and Augustine Nsumba.

Sseruyidde’s career kicked off at the Mike Sserumaga Football Academy before joining Kajjansi Boys (KB) Lions and later Kira United.

He joined URA in 2017 and was part of the squad that won the Mapinduzi Cup tournament in Zanzibar that same year.

The tax collectors are also set to lose players Steven Mukwala, Ashraf Mandela, Ivan Sserubiri, Mikidadi Ssenyonga and Ibrahim Dada whose contracts came to an end.

Last season, URA finished in third place with 55 points in 30 games and 19 adrift of Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC.
