The elder brother of singer and politician Bobi Wine, Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu survived being beaten to death by the men in uniform.
This was during the mobilization of NUP’s team in Western Uganda in Kyenjojo.
Nyanzi was beaten badly by these gun wielding men and at one point appeared to have lost consciousness.
These officers can be seen trying to arrest Nyanzi violently and bundle him into a car.
But in the scuffle, he says that one security operative snatched his phone.
He resisted getting inside in order to first recover his phone thus the battle.
These officers then turn violent amd drag him on the ground as they manhandle him.
Further they try to get him in the car and in the process he loses consciousness till they put him aside after several of his mates fighting for him.
